“Fire of Hope” Evangelism Training Camp and Outreach

“Fire of Hope” Evangelism Training Camp and Outreach

June 29 – July 19, 2015

The Arise! Ukraine team has just finished partnering with the Missionary Churches of Ukraine to hold a three-week “Evangelism Training Camp and Outreach” in central Ukraine.

95 young adults, ages 14 to 30, spent seven intensive days learning to share the gospel. Training included the memorization of 20 Bible verses, education on different approaches, learning how to pray for evangelism, answering questions and more.

After the camp, the group broke out into three teams and traveled to three separate Ukrainian regions for two weeks. Each team spent time working with local church pastors and church planters in 15 different towns and villages.

Two to three thousand people heard the gospel and several hundred prayed to receive Christ during this three-week period. Many encountered Christ through the on-street witnessing, concerts, children’s programs and literature distribution.

Best of all, nearly 100 youth are now trained, experienced evangelists who are able to train others in their home churches and regions!

Praise God!  Please pray for effective follow-up by the local churches.

Thank you to all who prayed and gave generously toward this outreach.

We are all–including the dozens of youth who received camp scholarships–are deeply grateful to you who partner with this ministry!

“Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”  (Matt. 9:37-38)
